photoblog image Elk

Elk

Yellowstone National Park.  Not a buck in sight, but elk are such a majestic animal, I couldn't pass up the shot.

Light definitely dropping, and wanted to close down the aperture, so had to shoot at 1/30.  Thankfully, there wasn't too much wind...and that the kit lens has IS.

Probably another portrait tomorrow.

This is beautiful! I keep expecting an inspirational quote underneath it. smile
Michael Benjamin Studios: I prefer to let the picture do the speaking, Tracy.

But thanks for the shout out!
