photoblog image Diamonds are Forever

Diamonds are Forever

Back to portraits for a day or two.  And one from my more recent work...this one on a Ramadan 2009 trip to Muscat, Oman.

The Crown Plaza was the only place we could find to grab lunch.  It was hot, as August in the desert tends to be.  And not a beer to be found.  We drove 5 hours to Muscat, spent 3-4 hours looking at the city, and then 5 hours back.  The dog needed to be let out and Kimberly needed her visa renewed.  So, day trip it was.

Still, got a good shot of the Mrs., so while it was a long day, it was one well spent.

Standard 28-135mm kit lens for this one.  Love it when I get good bokeh out of that lens...

Tomorrow, another from Liiratai shoot.
