photoblog image Alley Cat

Alley Cat

Obviously some post production work here, so curious for thoughts.

From the same shoot as "Red Brick Road" from a few days back.

To me the pping has made this image look like it was taken on a cheap compact camera and not a 30D.
Michael Benjamin Studios: One vote for "too much." Thank you, sir.
Mmm - I think that perhaps the contrast between the model and the background didn't go far enough - blurring the bg and making it totally monochrome might have worked.
I actually like the result: the desaturated colours give a gritty feel to it that goes well with the model's aggressive stance and somewhat forbidding expression. I might have desaturated the b/g just a tad more, but too much there and you'd lose the "street" feel. Good one!
