Walls

I'm trying to do more with 'every day' objects.  I much prefer portraiture, but shooting models in Abu Dhabi presents 2 problems.  1)  It's about to get waaayyy too hot to do any work outside (and I don't have, or have access to, a studio here).  And 2)  Models aren't exactly growing on palm trees out here (or, they are, but I'm just looking in the wrong oases).

So, I look for interesting items during my daily routine.

I'd been wanting to stop and take a picture of this concrete pile for a few months.  The streets/houses in my neighborhood are literally sinking (a consequence, I guess, of building foundations on sand).  These are either 1) to fix some houses which are particularly affected or 2) taken from houses which are particularly affected.

Either way, I liked the stack.  Hope it similarly catches your eyes.
