Chelsea 2

Sweet.  Post #50.

One from the archives, but to keep the pattern going, I chose one of Chelsea, taken in Dotun's studio.

Good fun that day.  I'd post the shot of Chelsea and me, but I didn't take it...

No idea what I'm posting tomorrow.

I've never done any work like this, but it looks good to me.
Michael Benjamin Studios: Thanks, Alan.
A striking lady!
Michael Benjamin Studios: Thanks, Tom.
I really like her pose and your framing on this: with her elbow jutting forward into the middle of the picture and her knee coming forward, it kind of looks like she is trying to elbow her way energetically into the frame! smile Question: did you deliberately keep your rim light off her face, and if so, why? Just curious, the shadows are very dark there.
I wasn't doing much 'deliberate' that day. Playing with lighting set ups and stealing Dotun's knowledge as best I could.

But, if memory serves, we decided to set that light a bit lower to play with shadows. And I took this shot slightly to the side, vice straight on, so amplified that effect a bit more.
